About the fair
The BASEART Photo Fair 2026 is an international art fair dedicated entirely to the photographic image. It creates a space for meaningful, unhurried encounters between artists, collectors, and those who are passionate about photography.
With a deliberately reimagined format, the fair moves beyond the fleeting pace of conventional art fairs. Visitors are encouraged to return, to dwell, to reflect — and to engage directly with the artists whose work lines the walls. Connections made here are built to last.
Who can apply
All photographers and image-makers are welcome — individual artists, collectives, galleries, platforms, associations, and institutions. No restrictions on medium, age, origin, or career background.
What matters is artistic quality and expressive power. That is the only criterion.

Individual works
Up to 5 works. Each printed A4 or A3 and exhibited. For 6+ works, wall rental is recommended.

How to apply

1Choose your participation type & pay
Select Individual Works or Wall Rental above. Complete your application and payment in one step. Deadline: 6 September 2026.

2Confirmation & contract
You will receive a participation confirmation and binding contract. Return the signed contract within two weeks.

3Final invoice (Wall Rental only)
The balance is invoiced ~6 weeks before the fair. Your deposit is deducted from the total.

4Submit your image files
Label files as:

BASEART Photo Awards
All exhibited works automatically enter the competition. The jury is the public — visitors vote during the fair in September 2026.

Über die Messe
Die BASEART Photo Fair 2026 ist eine internationale Kunstmesse, die ausschließlich der Fotokunst gewidmet ist. Sie schafft einen Raum für bedeutungsvolle, entschleunigte Begegnungen zwischen Künstlerinnen, Sammlerinnen und all jenen, die für die Fotografie brennen.
Mit einem bewusst neu gedachten Format geht die Messe über das flüchtige Tempo konventioneller Kunstmessen hinaus. Besucherinnen und Besucher werden eingeladen, immer wieder zu kommen, zu verweilen und in direkten Austausch mit den Künstlern zu treten.
Wer kann sich bewerben
Alle Fotokünstlerinnen und Fotokünstler sind willkommen — Einzelkünstler, Kollektive, Galerien, Plattformen, Vereinigungen und Institutionen. Keine Einschränkungen hinsichtlich Medium, Alter, Herkunft oder Werdegang.
Entscheidend ist allein die künstlerische Qualität und Ausdruckskraft der eingereichten Werke.

Bis zu 5 Arbeiten. Jede wird in A4 oder A3 gedruckt und ausgestellt. Ab 6 Werken empfehlen wir eine Wandmiete.

2Bestätigung & Vertrag
Sie erhalten eine Teilnahmebestätigung und einen verbindlichen Vertrag, der innerhalb von zwei Wochen unterschrieben zurückzuschicken ist.

3Abschlussrechnung (nur Wandmiete)
Die Restrechnung wird ca. 6 Wochen vor der Messe versendet. Ihre Anzahlung wird abgezogen.

Alle ausgestellten Arbeiten nehmen automatisch am Wettbewerb teil. Die Jury ist das Publikum — Besucherinnen und Besucher stimmen während der Messe ab.
